See the video for Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux’s ‘I Just Wanna Know’ ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Cardi B

Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux have released the official music video for “I Just Wanna Know,” a collaboration with Cardi B and Ty Dolla $ign from their long-awaited joint album, “Prolific.”

Directed by Norberto Garcia, the visual arrives alongside the release of their 15-track collaborative project, which reunited Rideaux and Hussle nearly a decade after their 2017 joint effort No Pressure. Production comes from several longtime collaborators who also worked on Hussle’s Grammy-nominated Victory Lap, including Mike & Keys, Mixed By Ali, Cyrus Taghipour and Larrance Dopson.

I Just Wanna Know is part of a collection that Hussle and Rideaux created nearly a decade ago, following their work on the 2017 project “No Pressure.” According to Rideaux, the pair spent roughly 90 consecutive days recording “Prolific,” initially setting out to make a project aimed toward women and exploring more vulnerable, melodic material. The album’s vocal recordings were completed and sent for mixing shortly before Hussle was killed in March 2019.

The “I Just Wanna Know” video (seen HERE) follows earlier visuals released for “Reckless” and “Sacrifices,” giving fans another look at material created during one of the most important periods in Hussle’s career.  The release comes as Rideaux and Hussle’s collaborators continue introducing “Prolific” to audiences while preserving the late rapper’s original vision. The album includes appearances from Static Major and James Fauntleroy, among others, with several producers and engineers from Hussle’s “Victory Lap” era contributing to the finished recordings.
